Bequests

Kay Moore has been a faithful supporter of our organization. She believes it is important to help further our mission.

Kay: I worked at a bank downtown for many years. I believe Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation is truly helping others and it is one of the key components of our downtown’s vibrant resurgence. It is important to me to partner with them to make the arts and its education and cultural programs accessible. That is why I have made numerous gifts over the years.

I plan to continue my annual support and membership but I wanted to do more than just make gifts. I have been careful and have been able to save enough for retirement. I plan to be generous with family, but I also have the ability to be generous with charity.

After thinking it over, I decided to leave a bequest in my will. My attorney took the simple language available from the organization and included a nice bequest in my will. I am delighted that I will be helping others have accessibility to arts and arts education programs through my gift.
